Terms of Use

By using Boarding Time you agree to these terms. They're short, written in plain English, and apply to every page on the site.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of the Boarding Time website at boardingtime.coand any sub-pages, tools, APIs or content available on it. By accessing or using the site you confirm that you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the site.

2. The service is provided free of charge

Boarding Time's tools, guides, blog posts and FAQs are provided free of charge and without a sign-up requirement. We reserve the right to add, modify or remove features at any time. We may also temporarily suspend or restrict access for maintenance, performance or abuse-prevention reasons.

3. Permitted use

You may:

  • Use the tools and read the content for personal travel planning.
  • Share links to pages on the site freely.
  • Quote short excerpts of articles with attribution and a link back to the source page.

You may not:

  • Republish, sell or redistribute substantial portions of our content without our prior written permission.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl or index the site at a rate that interferes with normal operation. Reasonable crawling by search engines and well-behaved AI assistants is welcome — see our robots.txt and llms.txt.
  • Attempt to disrupt the service, probe for security vulnerabilities without prior agreement, or use the site to distribute malicious code.
  • Misrepresent your relationship to Boarding Time.

4. No professional advice

Boarding Time's content is general informational content for travellers. It is not legal, financial, medical or insurance advice. In particular:

  • The flight-delay compensation tool gives a guidance figure based on UK261 and EU261. Whether an individual claim succeeds depends on the specific facts, the airline's defence and applicable case law.
  • Currency rates are mid-market rates and do not include the spread, fees or limits that any actual provider applies.
  • Weather data is forecast data and can change rapidly; never make safety-critical decisions based solely on a forecast.
  • Power-adapter information is correct to the best of our knowledge but standards and outlets vary even within a country; always inspect the socket before plugging in expensive equipment.
  • Health, vaccination and visa requirements change frequently and should be verified with official government sources before you travel.

5. Third-party content and links

The site contains links to third-party websites and uses data from third-party APIs. We do not control these third parties and we're not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices or availability. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement.

6. Intellectual property

Original text, code, design and branding on the site are © Boarding Time. Third-party data — such as weather forecasts and exchange rates — remains the property of its respective providers. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boarding Time and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Where liability cannot be excluded as a matter of law, our total liability is limited to GBP £1.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Boarding Time against any claim, loss or expense arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
